~ hIghLiGht oF tHe wEeK ~

After a long break last week, lets do a short review on some highlights of the week of mine...

1. KPMG Myanmar/China Disaster Relief Campaign

In just a 14 working days, KPMGians gathered a total of RM 105, 409.00 of donation. THIS IS GREAT !!!! For sure, we cant help all the victims but at least we have try our very best in helping them. As per Horace Traubel, "If the world is cold, make it your business to build fires."!!! Keep it up KPMGians....Pray hard for World PEACE !!!

2. Birthday girl of the week - Ms.510

Can't remember when is the first time we met. But for sure i still remember her innocent face when she start putting her leg into the "world of debate"2 years ago, she is blur, blank, slow, silent and no emo. She got a perfect "Stress Sweet Potato Face".

But today, she is "SHARP", "ATTRACTIVE" & somehow "CHATTY". She is a typical testimonial for those who never give up in learning and deserve the victory of change!Keep it up 510....Wil pray hard for your future !!! Happy B'day !!!

3. "Pak To" of the months

Few months never meet each other, a simple dinner at Sushi King bring so much of joy....
Take Care and all the best in future career!!! Pray hard for this !!!

4. IMI vs JPN
I went to immigration department located at PBD last Tuesday for some passport matter. Of course, as per what everyone told me, they are improved in term of efficiency...Bravo !!!
But one thing weird is they so particular on birth cert where i able to show them my MyCard?Correct me if i am worng...In order to apply for your MyCard in JPN, you do need to attach with your birth cert...here mean, no birth cert, no MyCard...Got MyCard mean birth cert no problem...then why IMI still checking my birth cert...maybe they wanted to know my father so much...anyway, still manage to solve the problem...at least i know they are improved but not perfect yet....Pray hard for them...

5. Euro 2008
As usual, football fever is everywhere and "Pandas" also everywhere. Truly respect those who able to watch the game from 2am til 5am then reach office at 8.30am.

Since my favorite team, Netherlands ended their journey earlier, lets look at game from another angle....The sponsors !!!Lets look at the list of sponsors first....

ADIDAS, CANON, CARLSBERG, CASTROL, COCA-COLA, CONTINENTAL, HYUNDAI, JVC, MASTERCARD & MCD..As we know, without them the game might face many obstacles.

BUT, BUT, BUT, WHY CARLSBERG IS THERE ???

When they proudly tell us - "WE ARE THE OFFICIAL BEER FOR EURO 2008"...Can anyone pls tell me how this "BEVERAGE" relate to a sport event? For the players???For the Coaches???For the Judges???For the supporters???
I have totally no idea on this....I know CARLSBERG is rich, but try to think of the nature of the event and the nature of the sponsors' business la....Maybe in one day we will see this in papers...
"PAMPERS - The offcial diapers of Euro 2012"
"DUREX - The official condom of Euro 2014"....

6. Bill Gate - A full time social worker now

Yesterday, think of Bill Gate think of Microsoft...
Today, think of Bill Gate think of Charity...Never think of he will step down so early, and now he will pay his full attention in Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. No doubt, he is a role model to everyone!!!All the best Bill !!!

Ok, thats all for this week....coming up next...Asia Pacific Chinese Debate Tournament 2008 & World Chinese Debate Tournament 2008 !!! Stay tune.......
