"The price of Petrol would be adjusted monthly based on the global oil price but the new prices were still at a 30-sen per litre discount from market prices."
Here mean, our goverment commitment towards petrol will be remained unchange throughout the year but the consumer need to be "controlled" by the global oil price.
Lets say, the global oil price has no sign of decreasing in this coming 3 to 5 years...
I can foreseen these...
- By end of the month, Pak Lah will meet all the press around 6pm in the afternoon.
- During the press conference, some reporter will start sms-ing to share the new price of petrol to others
- Then all Malaysian will start SMS-ing each other using all capital letters saying "FASTER PUMP PETROL!PRICE WILL GO UP AFTER 12 MIDNITE by RM XXX"
- Then the "PUMP THE PETROL PARADE" will start immediately before Pak Lah step out from the press conference.
- After everyone happily pump a full tank of petrol, only they found out that full tank can on stand for less than 2 weeks only. Worst thing is, some of them use at least 1/3 of they petrol when they stuck in the so called Parade.
- And these process will repeat repeat and repeat every month....until our goverment willing to pay more than 30-cent per litre of petrol....
Ok la...dun be so upset la...at least there are still some "good news" from Him...
Rebates !!!
> RM625 per year
For private vehicle with engine capacity of 2000cc and below
> RM150 per year
For each private motorcycle with engine capacity of 250cc and below
> RM200 reduction on road tax
For private petrol and diesel vehicles with engine capacity above 2000cc
