Following the previous post regarding Earth Hour 2009, I decided to persuade my parent in supporting this campaign during my trip back to Melaka last weekend. The reason why I used the word “PERSUADE” is because I always thought that they are not really concern on what is Global Warming is all about. Surprisingly, the below dialogue took place…

Son: Ma, this coming 28th March switch off our house lights for an hour starting 8.30pm.
Mother: Ok. I saw this in TV too. Will do so.
Father: Fan le??? Can on it???
Son: Can, just off the lights only.
Father: Ok.

Conversation ended……Yes! Conversation ended……As simple as that!!!

I thought they will ask me million of questions and I have prepared so much for explaining to her the reasons behind the campaign. Who knows they are so updated? I even do not need to explain a single line. Amazing!!!
