~ LaNgKaWi 2o09 - fiRst dAy !!! ~

This is the 3rd time I landed in Langkawi for no other reasons but a free and easy trip. Seven of us have booked our flight tickets together few months ago and a mini committee has been formed too to ensure the trip could be gone smooth. Unfortunately, one week before the trip a Mr. has pulled out from the trip as he found out he has to celebrate his girl friend’s father birthday at JB. And one day before the trip a Mrs. withdraws from the trip as she found out her daughter got a high fever a day before our departure. So, what you think? From seven down to five, is not something good right?

Guess what, more to come. Two hours before the departure time, another Mr. could not wake up on time and he has missed the flight. End up; an Empat Kaki trip took place. And these four poor guy and ladies have missed the check in time. Really a disaster! Nothing went smooth until we met a kindhearted crew who allowed us to check-in for Langkawi through the ChiangMai counter. He should be awarded as the Best Employee of the year.

DAY ONE :-
Our journey in Langkawi began after we collected our room keys and Nissan Sentral Sport. First pit stop of the day was Kuah Town., the center city of the island. Here was the place where we made price comparison for all the free duty stuff like liquors, perfumes, chocolates and etc. And that was the time I “accidentally” met with ah Hui at Kuah Town where she was followed her UOB’s colleagues to Langkawi for a trip too. We only met for less than 15 minutes but we agreed to have another one maybe later of the day or Day two of the trip. End up; a silly incident took place which I will share it later.

After a half day shopping and photo taking in Kuah Town, we have to back to our apartment to rest for two to three hours as the weather was damn damn damn damn hot. We nearly melted in our car. After refreshed our self, we make our way to Pantai Cenang, Pantai Tengah and Porto Malai Harbour for a great evening experienced.

Pantai Tengah...We love this place so much... Best thing to do for a 4 fellas trip, take photos...

Langkawi UnderWater World, after looking at the entrance fee we decided to withdraw some money from the nearest ATM....

Since we were in a small group, a "FireWall" needed...

Pity the fishes here...only got a meal per day...

Since is not easy to get someone who so kind to take group photo for us, we did it our self.

End of the evening, we were backed to Pantai Tengah to have a drink at The Lighthouse Restaurant, a place where I strongly recommend to you. It is a semi open-air restaurant and beach bar. You can enjoy the sunset there while enjoying your meal and you can hear the sound of waves in a windy climate.

After one round of Margarita and Singapore Sling, they collapsed...

Luckily ahWai is not an alcoholic...therefore he still conscious...

After a drinking session at The Lighthouse Restaurant, the day one journey ended after we have our wine and poker session at our apartment. Drinking in Langkawi is a must.
