~ LaNgKaWi 2o09 - sEcONd dAy !!! ~

DAY TWO:-
Our day began at 7am in the morning and I managed to capture the above view right from our balcony. Such a wonderful morning! (Though the breakfast provided by the management was damn awful) Since we do not have a proper planning for the trip, we tried to look for something to “kill time”. First half of the day, we signed up for a 4 hours island hopping tour to Pantai Beras Basah, Eagle feeding, Pulau Dayang Bunting and last checkpoint of the tour was to Tasik Dayang Bunting.

After a long day out at the sea, once again we defeated by the heat of Langkawi and an afternoon nap took place until 4pm. After a cooling shower, a Thai smell lotion from MayKin and moisturizer from Esho helped me so much in reduced the painfulness caused by sun burnt.

Second part of the day, we make our way to the Black Sand Beach which located far away at the north part of the island. Since it was a long journey to travel, we stopped by at Beras Terbakar to buy some local stuff. End up; we bought no beras but a huge size corn from the night market there. We bring our super size corn all the way to Pantai Kok to enjoy it.

After a long “corn chewing” session, we continued our journey at a mini scale of Petrol Science Center located at the Pantai Kok. That was the place where we transformed into a group small kid. We did so much of silly silly stuff there and most of time you will hear this from MayKin, “STUPID LA YOU! HA HA HA!” Due to the time constraint, we decided to revisit this spot on the next day.

Finally, we were there at the so called Black Sand Beach. For those who dunno the story behind the beach, they might wonder why the beach was so dirty. Only 3 things we managed to do there. First, take photos. Second, enjoy the scene there. Lastly, look for a short pant for MayKin as she tried so hard to buy a short pant since we were first day here.

Later of the evening, once again we backed to Pantai Cenang to hunt for a nice seafood dinner. Can’t really recall what was the restaurant name, but do remember that their food there were nice and the price was reasonable. After the dinner, we backed to our all time favorite beach, Pantai Tengah. That night was wonderful. After a KungFu fighting with MayKin and Sharalyn, we lay down on the beach to enjoy the strong wind and sound of the waves there together with some “Drink Songs” from our mobile. As what I always said, it was really a “Fiu…Fiu……Fiu…….” experience. But, our Fiu…Fiu……Fiu……. experience ended when the rain visited the place as well. Then we back to the LightHouse Restaurant to enjoy our Margarita.

One last event of the day, we decided to meet ah Hui at Hotel Langkasuka. This is where a silly story began. We happily bring some snacks and chilled white wine and waited at the lobby of Hotel Langkasuka which located in Kuah Town and the below conversation took place.

ahWai: Hello, we are here at the lobby.
ahHui: Ok, I come down now.
(after 5minutes)
ahHui: Where are you?
ahWai: We are here at the lobby, just next to the lift.
ahHui: I’m here at the lobby too but can’t see you guys.
(feel like in a ghost movie)
ahWai: Wait, you are in Langkasuka Hotel rite?
ahHui: Yes. Is Langkasuka Hotel, the one near to the Airport.
ahWai: Shit! We are at the Langkasuka Hotel too, but the one at the Kuah Town.

FYI, the Langkasuka Hotel and Langkasuka Beach Resort are different. That’s the silly mistake I did. End up, we back to our apartment and finished the wine while watching the All England Women Final. After a short KungFu fighting with MayKin then we called it as a day.
